Follow up HCP compliance site visit during first year of Consultant services
Yearly NYS Office of Child and Family Required site visit to Child Daycare Program for review of Health Care Plan (HCP) and related practices and certifications which includes:

a random sampling of: immunization records, daily health checks, medical forms and blue cards for children in care
a review of Individual Health Care Plans for Children with Special Health Care Needs
a review of MAT certificates and CPR/FA certifications for MAT staff signed on to programs health care plan as medication administrants
observation of first aid kit contents for use in childcare setting
review of medication consent forms and medication documentation logs
medication administration procedure and medication storage practices
as needed technical assistance by phone, email, text related to Health Care Plan issues and practices

Principles of childhood development: appropriate supervision of children, meeting the needs of children enrolled with physical or emotional challenges, and behavior management and discipline
Nutrition and health needs of children
Child day care program development
Safety and security procedures including communication between parents and staff
Business records maintenance and management
